Drake hints at new Aaliyah music during Tim Westwood interview

In addition to his freestyle offering, Drake’s recent interview with Tim Westwood in the UK offers some interesting news. The OVO general sparked rumors of a posthumous collaboration with Aaliyah, whose face he has tattooed on his back.

“I have some great Aaliyah news coming soon. Some special things, great things for music, period.”

He was more open when talk turned to what, exactly, he likes about Aaliyah’s music.

“You know it’s hard for me to ride around to a female singer because at the end of the day, you’re a man, but she always kept it so G with the writing and the melodies. It was something to ride to, especially when it was chopped and screwed.”
