After learning the ethos behind Hawaii-based art project POW WOW from Part I, we now present you with POW WOWs Hawai’i Video: Part II. In this edition, we see further into what the project has to offer with comments from an array of international and local artists: Solomon Enos, Peap Tarr and Prime to name a few. A continued effort to bring art to the island’s masses, the video highlights a range of earth-inspired murals and paintings from living off the land through hunting, to traditional mythical Hawaiian gods. Despite the stimulus behind each work of art, the message remains the same: finding a healthy balance in life on a global scale. The project’s efforts to show their work doesn’t stop here though, as the video continues with a part III to come.
