Sid Lee Architecture and Senior Partner/Lead Design Architect Jean Pelland recently completed the construction of Red Bull’s new Amsterdam headquarters. Located in a former shipping yard alongside a retired U-boat, the urban space emphasizes Red Bull’s ability to take their work seriously without taking themselves too seriously. Duality is the theme of the project, with the interior juxtaposing black and white, dark and light, public and private, work and play, arts and industry, and a respect for traditional values with those of modernity. Ultimately, the architecture perfectly combines the simplicity of the industrial space with the performance for which Red Bull is known. This new video takes you inside the headquarters for a glimpse into the project’s completion.
