A new exhibition at the Museum of Contemporary Art entitled “Xenophilia (Love of the Unknown)”
A new exhibition at the Museum of Contemporary Art entitled “Xenophilia (Love of the Unknown)” showcases the work of legendary West Coast assemblage artist George Helms alongside that of his longtime friend and colleague, Robert Branaman, as well as several younger assemblage artists who hail from New York and Los Angeles, and are bringing a new wave of energy to the movement. Featuring pieces by Rita Ackermann, Ryan McGinley, Dan Colen, Ari Marcopoulos, Agathe Snow, Kathryn Andrews and more, the exhibit is scheduled from July 10 through October 2.
