The Rudeez was inspired by vintage dress shoes, the Greaserz looks at 70s blue collar culture and the Bash is inspired by hip-hop culture as well as Spike Lee movies. For releases, it will begin in June with the Bash and end in August with the Rudeez.

A new range of styles from New Balance have been released. The fabled 576 runner is seen in two colorways including another take on one of NB’s marquee 576 retro releases earlier this year with ample use of blue. The other style incorporates a purple suede upper and mesh toebox. Available now at Mita.

Based out of New Jersey, the Award Tour is designed and run by Phillip “LochNess” Annand and appears in its third inception with the Endless Summer collection. Marked by bold colors and vivid imagery, the collection draws directly from the generation of children raised in the nineteen-nineties while remaining firm in a strong design aesthetic. Consisting of t-shirts, sweatshirts, hats, and belts the Endless Summer collection will be available for sale through the Award Tour site and select retailers nationally and internationally.
This past weekend marked the second instance of Harold Hunter Day in New York. The event was fruitful with over 500 skaters in attendance, kicking it for 6 hours of pure skating with numerous skate celebrities in attendance from Chad Muska, The Gonz, to Billy Rohan, Rodney Torres, Vinny Ponte, Todd Jordan, Jeff Pang, and others. We’ve seen the mega popular 1970s rock band KISS and their likeness surface on a series of Vans SK-8 HIs set to release later this year. However, look for the make-up clad rockers to also feature with Medicom Toys on a set of Bearbricks. The designs are modeled after the band’s costumes and make up.
