New York based brand Alife has released part 2 of their Spring t-shirt line, but still no sign of the Alife Chocolate Bar design. Part 2 features both Alife and Krink tees including new colors of The Scratch tee, The Mountain tee, Helping Hand tee, the Bugged Out tee, the Our Gang tee, the Dr. Revolt II tee, the The End tee, the Sticker L/S tee, the Krink We Love NY tee, the Krink Mr. Red tee, and the Krink Strip tee. All of these tees come in a choice of 3 colors and are available at all Alife locations.
Fred Perry is an Iconic brand, another original brand with 5 decades of history. Fred Perry himself was world tennis champion in 1928 and in 1952 started making the slim-fit tennis shirts that were revolutionary at the time.
A few decades later, his clothes became the uniform for original street cultures in the UK such as Mods and Skinheads. Fred Perry has maintained its connection with culture as well as sport, and do alot of contemporary collabos.
The most famous collabo is with Comme des Garçons, but they even let Staple Design in on a piece. They have an extensive music part of their site, and have a small feature on a ska-punk group, staying true to their original fan base that rmade them famous. Supreme has just dropped a new unannounced set of 59FIFTYs. The “Flags” fitted features a simple emblem with 2 flags, utilizing the same design as the “Flags” hoodie released earlier for the S/S 2008 line. These caps are now available in red, white, blue, and black.

On April 4th, along with the Stussy x UNDFTD tee, Undefeated will be releasing 2 Cougars t-shits. The “Cougars Team tee” features the team logo on both front and back, available in black, orange, and gray. The 2nd being a “Cougars Football tee” sporting a cougar on the UNDFTD logo, and the team name and number 72 on the back, also available in the same colors.
Yesterday we posted about the opening night of Murakami’s exhibit at Brooklyn Musuem, today we’re following up with some action shots of what went down. Kanye West rocked the stage as usual, even Marc Jacobs couldn’t resist taking pictures of the champion rapper. Louis Vuitton took the war against counterfeiters one step further by taking over their turf and setting up street vendors that sell authentic LV bags. Murakami’s new Monogramouflage, an overlay of LV signature monogram with camouflage print, were on sale for $6,000 dollars a piece. Again, be sure to check out the exhibit if you’re around the area, Murakami’s Superflat style will open your eyes to what contemporary art is all about.
