Edison Chen was once a major actor and rapper in his native China, but relocated to Los Angeles where he tried his hand at fashion and street culture. Heavily influenced from the now converging worlds of hip-hop and contemporary art, Chen founded CLOT, a Hong Kong-based streetwear imprint that pays homage to the music genre as well as artistic visuals by way of exhibitions. This year alone, the entrepreneur has collaborated with the likes of Nike and Ian Conner for his latest VaporMax incarnation and Brick Camo collection, respectively. Recently, Chen teamed up with Hong Kong’s DJ Prepare to form the duo DJ EZ DICK.
