The recent emergence of technically-driven apparel that remains both refined and stylish is nothing new to ACRONYM. 2016 was a big year for Errolson and ACRONYM as it continued its collaboration with sportswear giant, Nike. The release of the long-awaited ACRONYM x NikeLab Air Presto Mid saw the recognizable elements of the early 2000s retro runner and the ultra-functional aesthetic of the Germany-based design agency come together in one cohesive silhouette, which sent sneakerheads a frenzy as teaser images and leaks surfaced. Additionally, to round up the year ACRONYM unveiled its Fall/Winter 2016 collection that once again displayed Errolson’s penchant for style and substance, sacrificing nothing in the name of protection or comfort. With the converging worlds of sportswear, footwear and fashion eyes should be on Errolson and ACRONYM, as its offerings in the coming year will surely offer a glimpse into the epitome of form and function as the three realms come together.
