Champion Collides With WIND AND SEA on Collegiate-Inspired Capsule
The first collaboration from the labels.
With the help of Champion Japan, Takashi Kumagai‘s WIND AND SEA is heading back to school a bit early this summer. For the first-ever collision from the streetwear outfitters, Champion and WIND AND SEA are suiting up the stylish student in its collegiate-inspired capsule.
Both Champion and WIND AND SEA draw heavy influence from youth culture, making the “college style” collection a natural merge point for the two brands. In the collaborative capsule, the duo employs Champion’s signature Reverse Weave style for a concise yet cohesive lineup of cobranded apparel.

Japanese rapper IO fronts the campaign; leading the range is a brown-hued quarter-zip complete with subtle cobranding. A half-sleeved sweatshirt also surfaces, stamped with a “SEA” x Champion co-branded collegiate logo on the chest and an oversized “WIND AND” logo on the back of the silhouette.
Elsewhere, a set of sporty nylon shorts and a slew of short-sleeved shirts round out the apparel foray, featuring a new “SAN DIEGO” signage alongside Champion’s “C” logo. Sift through the lookbook in the gallery above.
Expect the full WIND AND SEA x Champion capsule to land for purchase at Champion’s official online store as well as at select Champion storefronts beginning on Saturday, June 8.
