ファウンダーのジャン・トゥイトゥ(Jean Touitou)率いる〈A.P.C.(アー・ペー・セー)〉が、米ロサンゼルスを拠点とする〈Brain Dead(ブレイン デッド)〉とのカプセルコレクションを発売する。

今回のコレクションでは、〈Brain Dead〉の設立10周年を記念し、両ブランドのシグネチャーであるデニムをメイン素材として採用。〈Brain Dead〉のType00インディゴデニムを再解釈し、トラッカージャケット(77,000円)、バケットハット(27,500円)およびトートバッグ(35,200円)として展開する。フーディ(38,500円)とTシャツ(27,500円、全て税込)は、〈Brain Dead〉のロゴに〈A.P.C.〉のスタンプを組み合わせて配すなど、両ブランドのクラフトマンシップをクリエイティブなエスプリに昇華したコレクションに仕上げている。ジャン・トゥイトゥは「西部に旅をすると、何故だかより自由を感じることができるのですが、Brain Deadは全ての意味で私にとっては西部なのです」と語っている。

〈A.P.C.〉x〈Brain Dead〉によるコラボコレクションは、2月25日(火)より『A.P.C.代官山HOMME』『A.P.C.渋谷』『A.P.C.青山』『A.P.C.伊勢丹メンズ』をはじめとする『A.P.C.』直営店および公式オンラインストアにて販売開始。
