英 McDonald’s が人気朝食メニュー2種を廃止すると発表
発表当日はそれらに代わりMcMuffinを約150円で提供
1月中旬、米『McDonald’s（マクドナルド）』の朝食用メニューからベーグルサンドとラップサンドを姿を消したが、イギリスの店舗もこれらのメニューを廃止することが明らかに。
英『McDonald’s』は1月24日（現地時間）、先述した2つの人気朝食メニューを廃止する旨を『Twitter』で発表。理由については明言されていないが、公開された文書には、ベーグルサンドとラップサンドを愛するファンへのお詫びの気持ちが綴られた。なお、『McDonald’s』は発表当日、McMuffin（マックマフィン）を99ペンス（約150円）で販売したとのこと。
