バンドの黎明期を支えたMCが47歳の若さで他界
The Roots（ザ・ルーツ）の元メンバー Malik B（マリク・B）が死去した。享年47歳。米『Rolling Stone』によれば、死因は明らかとされていない。
バンドの公式『Twitter』やフロントマンのBlack Thought（ブラック・ソート）の『Instagram』上で今件についての声明が発表されている。

Malik Bはラッパーとして、バンドの黎明期から1999年の『Things Fall Apart』まで参加。その後脱退するが、客演としてグループの作品に度々登場していた。『HYPEBEAST』編集部一同、ご冥福を心よりお祈り申し上げます。
