Edson Sabajo and Guillaume “Gee” Schmidt founded Patta back in 2004, and the store-turned-streetwear label quickly became a cult favorite in Amsterdam. 2016 saw the brand take a huge step in its growth as it opened the doors on a permanent location in London. Over the past 12 months the brand has continued to grow, as it released a string of high-profile collaborations with the likes of ASICS, Vans and Dekmantel music festival. Another reason that 2017 was big for Patta was its first-ever Asia tour, as the brand opened pop-ups and released exclusive capsules in Bangkok, Shanghai, Seoul and Tokyo. Based on the moves it made this year, it appears that 2018 could be even bigger for the brand as it approaches its 15th anniversary.
