Dutch Creatives Found Love on the Dancefloor at the BACARDÍ x Patta Valentine's Day Party
Celebrating love and kinship in partnership with Patta Soundsystem.
In honor of Valentine’s Day, BACARDÍ joined with Patta to host a unique pop-up party in the label’s hometown of Amsterdam. The second installment in their collaborative event series aimed to bring streetwear, music, and drinks together, giving old friends and new acquaintances a place to connect.
Rooted in BACARDÍ’s “Do What Moves You” mantra, the party became an open invitation for guests to express their true selves on the dancefloor of Noordwaads – a former shipyard that now welcomes artists, musicians, and creatives. Seeting the tone for the night, Patta enlisted its family of DJs to play under its Patta Soundsystem imprint, including BXXMBASTIC, DJ Drivah, and brand co-founder Edson Sabajo. It wasn’t long before their hip-hop sounds were married with the red strobe lights to welcome guests with an intrinsically warm and romantic Valentine’s Day feel.

Meanwhile, BACARDÍ served up a curated menu of signature cocktails, from refreshing Mojitos to sweet Cuba Libres, with the fruity BACARDÍ X Patta Lobi Joe coming out top. As the party got into full swing, Patta soon introduced the main act of the night, Bokoesam, to serenade the crowd with tracks from his hit album New Wave as well as his latest record Love Doesn’t Exist.
Wanting to give guests a unique token of the night, limited-edition Patta T-shirts designed in collaboration with the rum brand were handed out throughout the duration. Not available for general release, the friends-and-family piece features a bold pink heart on a long-sleeve white top.

Speaking on the ongoing series, BACARDÍ brand director Robin de Bruijn shared, “The partnership between BACARDÍ and Patta is an ode to the energy and magic that happens when people come together. You could see and feel that during the first BACARDÍ X Patta pop-up and that same high energy is present at Noordwaards. This unique location perfectly aligns with BACARDÍ and Patta’s shared values and the goal of connecting people through a common passion.”
