Fear of God’s “Special 1987 Collection” and collaboration with Major League Baseball for All-Star Weekend were initiatives that gave fans a fresh take on nostalgic sportswear. As for the music industry, Mr. Lorenzo was tasked to outfit Kendrick Lamar for his DAMN. tour and Janet Jackson for her ‘State of the World’ tour with specially-made custom garments. Nothing was out of reach for the multi-hyphenate this year and it looks like the positive momentum will carry on to the next chapter in Jerry Lorenzo’s creative career.
