La Fisk Gallery de Portland a récemment inauguré Chasing Flowers, une nouvelle exposition personnelle de l’artiste américano-palestinien installé à New York, Sabri Sundos.

L’exposition explore la tension entre fuite et engagement, faisant de l’imaginaire floral un symbole de beauté, de refuge et de résilience. Sundos présente les fleurs comme autant de respirations dans un monde façonné par les sollicitations constantes, le bruit et l’incertitude politique. Leur familiarité offre un apaisement temporaire, tandis que les réalités qui les entourent ramènent sans cesse le spectateur à elles.
