After
linking up with Converse earlier this year,
Rick Owens has now partnered with
Dr. Martens for a new footwear collaboration. The collaboration will feature two releases over the course of this year, beginning with a new take on the 1460 Bex platform sole boot.
The silhouette, which became famous in the ’90s, is reworked with Rick Owens’ signature star lacing system in a “Taupe” color, while the smooth black leather upper sits atop a double-height Bex sole unit. Other features include a dual-branded sock liner and a zip closure, while the “Taupe” notes continue onto the taupe heel loop and the taupe and yellow double welt stitching.

the Dr. Martens web store on March 20, with a second installment due to arrive in May.
