Emojipedia has detailed the changes and revisions to Microsoft’s Segoe UI Emoji font in the upcoming Windows 10, and one of the more outstanding additions to Microsoft’s own set of emoji is undoubtedly the middle finger. Available in a range of different skin tones, as well as Microsoft’s new grey neutral skin tone, users of Windows devices worldwide can now breathe a sigh of relief with the versatile range of emotional nuances that the middle finger emoji can provide to any conversation. Although the middle finger emoji was approved for the Unicode 7 standard in 2014, Windows is the first operating system to provide an emoji design, which is still missing from the emoji fonts of iOS, OS X and Android. Also in this update are revisions to existing emoji to make them conform better to other existing emoji fonts, as well as new additions such as the Vulcan Salute.
