2006 marks the big year for the Converse Jack Purcells collaboration with Comme des Garcons and the world famous Undercover “Jack Purcell” styled sneakers with Silly Thing this year. Pledge from Tokyo has also released a pair of sneakers inspired by a pair of customized Jack Purcell Kurt Cobain that were worn once in a photo shoot.

After producing the new guerrilla store for Comme des Garcons in Hong Kong which opened last weekend, TK and LUCI HALE from SILLY THING reveals their latest project on their blog. Teaming up with LUCAS FILM, they have produced a stunning edition of CREAM based on the Star Wars saga. This new issue of CREAM, which just released in Hong Kong yesterday (May 5th), also comes with a Star Wars toy styled box that has the famous “May The Force Be With You” saying engraved on it.

To celebrate the release of W)taps’ magazine “Philosophy Zine” vol.02, Tet from W)taps announced the re-opening of the Philosophy store from his blog on Honeyee. The opening date will be on May 12th, 2006. No exact address has been announced yet but according to Tet it will be in Harajuku, Japan. It will be a guerilla store which opens just a few days a week for a few months.
