Japanese designer Kosuke Tsumura is a leading force in the Asian fashion scene, pushing himself internationally since the late 1980s. He is synonymous with multi-functional designs that are practical and protective, becoming Lavenham‘s strong collaborative partner.

The UK pioneer promotes classic British style, taking a step toward innovation with Kosuke Tsumura. The duo’s third collaboration has been revealed, taking inspiration from Tsumura’s dystopian design language. Two outerwear garments make up the collection, featuring a gilet and coat referencing the Japanese designer’s early work.

Lavenham and Kosuke Tsumura’s serviceable garments promote the former’s quilted craftsmanship, while concealed zippers and buttons allow for multiple styling options. They tested them in Britain’s countryside, showing the garments in motion braced against natural elements.

Take a closer look at Lavenham and Kosuke Tsumura’s third collaboration in the gallery above. The items will be released on October 19 via both brands’ websites.
