Sk8thing & Toby Feltwell
Co-founders of Cav Empt

Japanese and British

Born out of the fruits of their collaborative labor for Billionaire Boys Club, Sk8thing and Toby Feltwell’s C.E has been an instant classic in the world of streetwear from day one. Established back in 2011, Cav Empt – short for the Latin caveat emptor, meaning “buyer beware” – quickly transcended its status as a cult favorite thanks to its one-of-a-kind melding of Feltwell’s London-centric street sensibility and Sk8thing’s graphic design. Fast forward to 2017 and C.E remains at the pinnacle of its craft. These days the fits are as relaxed as ever while the graphics stay true to the retro-futuristic vibes of season’s past; a Cav Empt getup wouldn’t look out of place in the sci-fi world of Rick Deckard’s Blade Runner. And with coveted drops alongside everyone from artists Keiichi Tanaami and Oliver Payne to SHOWstudio and Brooklyn’s L.I.E.S. Records this year alone, you can bet Feltwell and Sk8thing’s techwear inspiration will still be felt on the streets come 2019.
