Kiko Mizuhara

Most notably known for her booming career as a high fashion model, truth be told, Kiko Mizuhara – since entering the modeling industry at the age of 12 – has since explored various other creative genres en route to becoming an all-around artistic talent. Born of American/Korean descent, Mizuhara moved to Tokyo in efforts to further her career, landing numerous magazine covers, runway features and campaign ads along the way. Now regarded as Japan’s it-girl, Mizuhara parlayed her career as a professional model into the realms of television, films and fashion design. Making her film debut in 2010, she has remained a fixture in Japanese television dramas as well as continuing to land roles on the big screen. Wanting to further develop her artistic energy, it was through her collaborative partnership with Opening Ceremony when Mizuhara first gained reverence as a designer. Spanning a relationship that dates back years, such superstars as Beyoncé and Rihanna have showed support — being snapped donning her wears. Rolling through an impressive 2016, aside from fronting numerous magazine editorials, Mizuhara recently starred in the Nobuyoshi Araki x Supreme 2016 fall/winter collection campaign.
