Circadian Rhythms Collaborates With LuckyMe, Gabber Eleganza, and More for "CR006 Communal" Project
Also bringing together 10 global record labels and artists to create “bootleg”-style tracks that champion creative connections.
The London-based concept label Circadian Rhythms is launching its sixth release with a multifaceted project dubbed “CR006 Communal.” It has a mind of its own, bringing together two worlds through a complimentary musical and upcycled garment launch.
Firstly, the melodic-filled half of the program sees ten independent record labels and DJs unite for a musical experience that allows for an open collaboration process. Artists from each label have selected tunes from others, creating a “bootleg” remix that saw them take apart every beat and put it back together. From Mars89 to DJ Pitch, 17 tracks were completed, showcasing recognized artists through a unique lens.
In the clothing department, designer William Francis Green has crafted a recycled capsule collection utilizing the artists’ unused concert merchandise. The result is an experimental vision with an unfinished feel, using cut-and-sew techniques to create distinctive attire that stands alone. The 100+ piece collection features everything from jackets and T-shirts to ponchos and crewnecks — acting as a rebellion against harmful waste practices.
