Una mostra aperta al pubblico con i lotti dell’asta si terrà dall’8 al 13 settembre da Christie’s New York.

Christie’s e 20th Century Studios hanno annunciato un’asta online di costumi e accessori originali del prossimo film The Devil Wears Prada 2. Organizzata in collaborazione con la protagonista Meryl Streep, l’asta si terrà online dal 1° al 15 settembre 2026; il ricavato sarà devoluto al Committee to Protect Journalists (CPJ) e al Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA).

L’asta propone capi di alta moda e accessori di lusso indossati sullo schermo da Meryl Streep, Anne Hathaway, Emily Blunt, Stanley Tucci, Simone Ashley e Lady Gaga. Tra i pezzi di punta, un paio di décolleté rosse Valentino Garavani Rockstud, prototipo firmato, indossate da Miranda Priestly, il personaggio interpretato da Streep, accanto a un cappotto con nappe Dries Van Noten della collezione Autunno/Inverno 2025 e a una giacca Schiaparelli in bianco e nero.

Tra gli altri lotti di rilievo figurano l’abito Niki di Gabriela Hearst indossato in scena da Anne Hathaway, un bracciale Bone Cuff di Elsa Peretti indossato da Emily Blunt e un abito lungo piumato Bad Binch TongTong by Terrence Zhou, scelto da Lady Gaga per il video musicale di RUNWAY. Il catalogo propone inoltre creazioni di Dolce & Gabbana, Dior, Elie Saab, Vhernier e Fendi, oltre al classico maglione color ceruleo di J.Crew.

L’asta online della collezione di The Devil Wears Prada 2 si terrà dal 1° al 15 settembre 2026, esclusivamente online. Dall’8 al 13 settembre, Christie’s New York ospiterà inoltre una mostra gratuita aperta al pubblico.
