The footage depicts a camouflaged prototype undergoing rigorous track testing. Engineers and professional racing drivers are actively refining the aerodynamic profile and chassis rigidity of the vehicle. The prototype incorporates significant exterior modifications designed to maximize downforce and cooling capability. Enthusiasts will immediately notice a sculpted front bumper featuring larger intakes, a deeper front splitter and aggressive front fender extrusions. The brand operates under a strict philosophy that production cars cannot improve without continuous racing development. This methodology positions the racing division at the absolute forefront of global motorsport activities. Engineers train in extreme track environments to gather data and elevate consumer technologies. The resulting HRC models represent the ultimate answer for enthusiasts seeking unfiltered performance. A former Formula 1 driver recently drove the prototype and praised the comprehensive upgrades, confirming the chassis adjustments deliver a tangibly superior driving experience.Bringing this hardware to America marks a massive shift for the Japanese automaker. The standard Civic Type R already commands respect in the hot hatch segment, but infusing it with direct motorsport components elevates the platform into a completely different tier. Honda is essentially creating a direct pipeline from the starting grid to the local dealership. The specialized racing division designs winning engines and chassis components for top-level competitions globally. Translating that exact engineering into a street-legal product guarantees an uncompromised dynamic envelope. Buyers will gain access to cutting-edge technologies previously reserved for professional racing teams.Market expectations remain incredibly high for the upcoming release. The automotive landscape currently favors electrified powertrains and heavy digital intervention, making a purely mechanical, track-focused hatchback a rare commodity. By leveraging genuine motorsport expertise, Honda protects its legacy among driving purists while pushing the absolute boundaries of the Civic Type R platform. Fans eagerly await full technical specifications as the development cycle nears completion, knowing the final product will undoubtedly disrupt the modern performance car hierarchy.

Click here to view full gallery at Hypebeast

The BRABUS BODO Is the Brand's Boldest, Sleekest Creation Ever

German luxury mobility brand BRABUS has officially pulled the sheet off the BRABUS "BODO," an all-new, strictly limited coachbuilt 2+2-seater Gran Turismo coupe. Unveiled live on stage at the prestigious FuoriConcorso event along Lake Como, Italy, this Masterpiece supercar serves as a direct homage to the brand’s late founder, Bodo Buschmann.Based on the Aston Martin Vanquish and constructed almost entirely from high-strength carbon fiber using an advanced pre-preg autoclave process, the BODO strikes a sculptural silhouette designed to balance high-speed stability with the brand's signature "1-Second-Wow" design language. The lightweight composite body plays a crucial role in maintaining a remarkably low dry weight of 1,774kg for a vehicle measuring over 16.4' feet in length. Up front, the aggressive fascia is punctuated by unique LED matrix headlights, a custom 13-slat radiator grille, and large RAM-AIR ducts for maximum induction. Active aerodynamics define the rear end, where an electrically deployable two-stage spoiler dynamically adjusts to add downforce or act as an instant air brake during heavy deceleration above 87mph.The heart of the coachbuilt masterpiece is a proprietary, hand-built 5.2L V12 bi-turbo engine that generates 1,000hp at 6,400 rpm and a continuous 885 lb-ft of torque. Power is channeled directly to the rear wheels via an eight-speed automatic transmission with an electronic locking differential. On the tarmac, BODO sprints the 0-100kmph in 3 seconds, passes 300 kmph in 23.9 seconds, and keeps pulling until it hits an electronically limited top speed of 360 kmph (just about 224 mph). BODO rides on custom-made 21" BRABUS Monoblock Z-GT "Shadow Edition" forged wheels, paired with custom SportContact 7 Force high-performance tires developed exclusively by technology partner Continental. Behind the wheels, massive six-piston front and four-piston rear calipers clamp down on ventilated, perforated carbon-ceramic composite brake discs to ensure fade-resistant stopping power. The chassis features an electronically controlled KW aluminum coilover setup offering five distinct driving modes—Wet, GT, Sport, Sport+, and Individual—allowing the driver to instantly recalibrate the adaptive damping, suspension lift system, and engine mapping from the cockpit. The aesthetics continue inside, where the bespoke Masterpiece cockpit has been built entirely by hand within BRABUS’s in-house upholstery workshop. Adhering to a stealthy "Piano Black" and "Shadow Gray" color palette, the cabin is swathed in premium leathers featuring precise stitching in the proprietary BRABUS "Shell" design. Exposed carbon fiber lines the dashboard, center console, and flat-bottomed steering wheel. Paying close attention to the finer details, the founder's signature is embroidered directly into the door panels, while the sleek silhouette of the coupe is stitched into the seat backrests. The BRABUS "BODO" is strictly limited to just 77 units worldwide, built entirely to order according to the individual specifications of each buyer. Base price starts at an even €1,000,000 EUR, or just above $1,162,600 USD.

Click here to view full gallery at Hypebeast

BYD's Ti7 Is Here to Shake Up the Premium SUV Game With 600bhp and 79 Miles of Range

SummaryBYD confirmed the upcoming UK launch of the Ti7 plug-in hybrid SUV as its first seven-seat flagshipThe model leverages a unibody construction and a performance-focused DM-p powertrain that generates 600bhp for a 0-62 mph sprint in 4.8 secondsSourced from the Fangchengbao luxury division in China, the vehicle delivers up to 79 miles of electric-only range and features a rotating infotainment screenBYD is officially bringing the Ti7 to the market as its first seven-seat vehicle for the United Kingdom. Serving as the brand's new flagship SUV, the vehicle measures 5,146mm in length, 1,995mm in width and 1,865mm in height. These commanding dimensions place the footprint comfortably between the Defender 110 and 130. Aggressive boxy proportions and flared wheel arches define the rugged exterior design. A strong shoulder line flows toward a sheer vertical drop-off at the rear. Up front, a contrasting titanium-finished lower bumper sits beneath a sharp dual-layer LED lighting signature. The interior packages three rows of seating alongside generous load space tailored for active lifestyles. Pricing and final specifications will emerge in the coming weeks ahead of a launch expected before the end of 2026.Propulsion stems from the dedicated Dual Mode Performance plug-in hybrid architecture. The DM-p setup combines a 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol engine with dual electric motors to drive all four wheels. System output hits a massive 600bhp, allowing the heavy SUV to sprint from 0-62 mph in just 4.8 seconds. Engineers bypassed the traditional ladder chassis found in legacy off-roaders in favor of a modern unibody frame. Such a structural approach ensures a smoother and highly composed ride quality on rough local roads. The internal combustion engine functions primarily as a generator to recharge the battery system. It only engages directly to deliver maximum mechanical thrust when the driver demands peak acceleration.Daily efficiency easily matches the raw power output. The Ti7 delivers a claimed 79 miles of electric-only range on the WLTP combined cycle. This figure drastically outpaces many current plug-in hybrids in the segment and gives owners the ability to handle daily commutes without burning a single drop of petrol. Based on the Fangchengbao Ti7 sold in China, the European variant leans heavily into the premium sub-brand's luxury roots. Inside, the cabin operates as a tech-forward smart cockpit centered around BYD's signature rotating infotainment screen. Advanced driver assistance systems elevate the modern driving experience, while optional LiDAR-based safety technology may appear on upper trim levels.

Click here to view full gallery at Hypebeast

The interior packages three rows of seating alongside generous load space tailored for active lifestyles. Pricing and final specifications will emerge in the coming weeks ahead of a launch expected before the end of 2026.

Propulsion stems from the dedicated Dual Mode Performance plug-in hybrid architecture. It only engages directly to deliver maximum mechanical thrust when the driver demands peak acceleration.

Daily efficiency easily matches the raw power output.

Lamborghini Unveils the Ultra-Exclusive Revuelto NA63 Inspired by North America

SummaryLamborghini has officially unveiled the Revuelto NA63, a special-edition variant of its flagship V12 plug-in hybrid supercar designed exclusively for the North American marketProduction is strictly capped at just 63 units, a number that honors both the year Ferruccio Lamborghini founded the company (1963) and the brand's 63rd anniversary in 2026The limited-run model features four distinct bespoke configurations, with the flagship livery utilizing a red, white, and blue palette to pay homage to the United States and Canadian flagsLamborghini is tipping its hat to its largest and most important global market with a striking new special edition. The Italian automaker has officially taken the wraps off the Revuelto NA63, a highly exclusive variant of its flagship V12 plug-in hybrid supercar built specifically for the United States and Canada. Commemorating the brand's profound connection to North American buyers while simultaneously celebrating its 63rd anniversary, this ultra-rare release blends jaw-dropping hybrid performance with bespoke, patriotic styling. The "NA63" moniker carries a heavy dual significance for the marque. "NA" explicitly stands for North America, honoring the region's pivotal role in the brand's continued global success. Meanwhile, the "63" represents both the strict production run of 63 units and the year 1963, when Ferruccio Lamborghini first established the iconic company. To set this limited run apart, Lamborghini has curated four unique exterior configurations meant to look more ceremonial than subtle. The flagship design boasts a Blu Marinus base paint accented by Rosso Mut (red) and Bianco Monocerus Matt (white) front hood stripes, seamlessly paying homage to the flags of both the United States and Canada. The other three colorways offer striking variations, ranging from a Grigio Serget with blue and white accents to a stealthy Grigio Acheso finish with black and orange detailing. Each model proudly wears the number 63 on its doors and features bespoke interior series numbering. While the visual upgrades are extensive, the mechanicals remain completely untouched—and for good reason. The NA63 utilizes the standard Revuelto’s cutting-edge high-performance electrified vehicle (HPEV) architecture. By pairing a screaming naturally aspirated 6.5-liter V12 engine with a tri-motor hybrid system, the setup delivers a combined output of 1,015 CV (1,001 horsepower). That massive power routes through an advanced all-wheel-drive system, rocketing the hypercar from 0 to 62 mph in a blistering 2.5 seconds and reaching a top speed in excess of 217 mph. With only 63 examples rolling out of Sant'Agata Bolognese for the entirety of the U.S. and Canadian markets, the Revuelto NA63 is destined to become an instant collector's item. By wrapping its electrified V12 legacy in a bespoke, localized package, Lamborghini proves that the roaring, dramatic spirit of its supercars is alive and well in 2026.

Click here to view full gallery at Hypebeast

BMW Officially Ceases Production of the Z4 Roadster

SummaryBMW has officially ended production of the third-generation Z4 (G29) roadster at the Magna Steyr plant in Graz, AustriaThe demise of the Z4—coupled with the discontinuation of the 8 Series Convertible—leaves the 4 Series as the only remaining drop-top model in BMW's current lineupCo-developed with the Toyota GR Supra, which also ended production earlier this spring, the Z4 saw a noticeable spike in sales during its final months on the marketThe era of the dedicated BMW two-seater sports car has officially come to a close. After a production run that began in 2018 for the 2019 model year, the third-generation BMW Z4 has rolled off the assembly line at the Magna Steyr plant in Austria for the final time. Ending nearly 30 years of Z-badged roadsters that began with the Z3, the beloved open-top sports car is bowing out to make way for a more streamlined, electrified future from the German marque. The end of the Z4 wasn't entirely unexpected. BMW had heavily telegraphed the move by announcing a specialized "Final Edition" late last year, which brought exclusive aesthetic touches and, importantly, a highly requested six-speed manual transmission option to the flagship M40i. Enthusiasts responded enthusiastically to the sports car's impending retirement, leading to a last-minute spike in sales—deliveries rose by roughly 4.9% in the first quarter of 2026 compared to the previous year. Still, the overall global volume of the roadster wasn't enough to justify the immense development costs of a next-generation model in today's SUV-dominated landscape.A critical element of the current Z4's lifecycle was its high-profile co-development with the Toyota GR Supra. Sharing the same platform and powertrains—most notably BMW's robust 3.0-liter turbocharged inline-six (B58)—allowed both brands to economically revive their flagship sports cars. However, with the Supra also ending its Magna Steyr production run this past March, the Z4's fate was fundamentally sealed. While Toyota has indicated plans to develop a sixth-generation Supra completely in-house, BMW has made it clear that no such successor is currently planned for the Z-car lineage. The discontinuation of the Z4 represents a major shift in the Bavarian automaker's broader portfolio. With the 8 Series Convertible also being phased out, the 4 Series will now stand as the solitary convertible offering in the entire BMW lineup. While a brand-new Z car isn't on the horizon anytime soon, the final Z4 models—especially the critically acclaimed, enthusiast-focused manual variants—are expected to go down as underappreciated hidden gems of the modern sports car era. For now, driving purists looking to grab one of the last remaining factory-fresh Z4s will have to act quickly before the leftover dealer inventory disappears for good.

Click here to view full gallery at Hypebeast

Kojey Radical Speaks on Transforming the Lotus Emeya Hyper-GT

Ahead of his debut headline show at the Royal Albert Hall next week, Kojey Radical has extended his creativity beyond the studio for his latest collaboration with Lotus.Reimagining the Lotus Emeya Hyper GT — the British automotive manufacturer’s luxury sports EV — the East London artist draws from his new album, Don’t Look Down to apply its theme into a wholly different medium.Having been experimenting with a “Royal Blue” color palette for the project’s rollout, he covers the car’s exterior in the same hue — even recreating the brand’s signature yellow emblem, something Kojey recalls as “the moment it stopped feeling like another collab and started feeling like trust.” Describing the theme of the album being about “pressure, visibility, fear, confidence and being under the spotlight,” as well as the color, the car’s design is also built around the concept of motion, where the emotional range of the album is expressed through how the textures and gradients are revealed depending on how you look at the car. Before music, Kojey was a keen illustrator and used this multi-hyphenate experience to step in as creative director for this collab. Offering a unique lens to the project, he took a more hands-on approach to the process in contrast to a typical brand-artist partnership, from building mood boards and sketches in the early phases, to testing how light bounces off the car’s exterior to reflect his inspirations of “brutalist architecture, metallic surfaces, deep royal blues, reflections, city lights, and the idea of hidden contours revealing themselves under pressure.”Hypebeast headed down to the unveiling of the Kojey Radical x Lotus Emeya Hyper-GT at the brand’s showroom in Mayfair, London, to take a first look at the car and spoke to the artist about how the project came to life.Hypebeast: Can you remember your first encounter with Lotus?Kojey Radical: I grew up in Hoxton Market, Hackney. Lotus wasn’t something I was exposed to growing up as no one had it in the ends. The first one I saw was the Lotus Esprit in a rerun of James Bond’s Spy Who Loved Me, how it turned into a submarine felt like something lifted straight out of a comic book. What is it about the brand that resonates with you?A lot of luxury can feel cold or overdesigned, but Lotus still feels connected to the dreamer. There’s heritage there, but it’s also pushing forward, and that mirrors where I’m at creatively. I’ve never been interested in nostalgia for nostalgia’s sake. I’m interested in evolution without losing identity. The conversations started pretty organically, with an undertone of shock that they were giving me so much creative freedom. Once we realized we were speaking the same language, it stopped feeling like a “brand collaboration” and started feeling more like building a world together. How did you bring the vibe of Don’t Look Down to the design? We never really saw it as just a wrap design, the capability for customization at Lotus is truly endless and the last thing I wanted to do was paste the album onto a car. Some of the themes from the project did translate into this design, especially around the color palette. I’ve been experimenting with “Royal Blue” and it seemed like the perfect fit.Don’t Look Down is an album about pressure, visibility, fear, confidence and being under the spotlight, I wanted the car to feel like the motion and tension from those themes frozen in place. Something elegant from afar, but layered and textured the closer you get. A lot of the inspiration came from brutalist architecture, metallic surfaces, deep royal blues, reflections, city lights, and the idea of hidden contours revealing themselves under pressure. The textures and gradients almost feel alive depending on how the light hits the car, which felt true to the emotional shifts across the album. Put simply, if we took the car and placed it in a literal blue spotlight, what would naturally happen to the car’s form, and what elements would start to reveal themselves.Talk us through the process of the project from conception to unveiling. The process was way more hands-on than people probably expect. From early moodboards to material references, color conversations, lighting tests, interior detail, I wanted to bring my best foot forward and show I was really passionate about this collaboration. I had ideas for the Emeya, Eletre and Esprit spiralling around in my mind, I made a deck to present to Lotus and had a bunch of illustrations I stayed up the night before scanning and reprinting to try different colors. I wanted this to feel unique and kept thinking about making something they would want to put in a museum one day. One of the most exciting parts of the process was seeing how they could take 2D random sketches and color swatches and render them to see exactly how they would interact with the car. Full credit goes to the team at Lotus for bringing that to life and guiding me through the process. In what ways has working on a car as a medium changed the way you view your creativity? It forced me to think spatially and physically in a completely different way. Music is emotional and audible. A car is tactile, it moves through the world. People interact with it in real time, from multiple angles, in changing light, at different speeds. It made me realise creativity doesn’t have to stay confined to one discipline. Storytelling can exist in so many other mediums. I’m passionate about this and would love to do more one day. A childhood dream was realized the day I saw the car in real life. How did it feel to be able to officially change the colour of the Lotus emblem for this collab?Honestly, that felt massive. The emblem is sacred territory for a brand with that kind of history. That was the moment it stopped feeling like another collab and started feeling like trust. How has this partnership differed from anything else you’ve done before? Most collaborations still orbit around promotion in some way. This felt more like authorship. I wasn’t just attaching my name to something, I was involved in shaping an emotional language for the project from the ground up. The level of trust, detail, and creative freedom made it feel closer to working with friends than doing a traditional brand partnership. It also challenged me because the audience isn’t just music fans. Car culture, design culture, fashion culture, they all read details differently. So I had to create something that could speak across all of those spaces without losing authenticity.

Click here to view full gallery at Hypebeast

Offering a unique lens to the project, he took a more hands-on approach to the process in contrast to a typical brand-artist partnership, from building mood boards and sketches in the early phases, to testing how light bounces off the car’s exterior to reflect his inspirations of “brutalist architecture, metallic surfaces, deep royal blues, reflections, city lights, and the idea of hidden contours revealing themselves under pressure.”

Hypebeast headed down to the unveiling of the Kojey Radical x Lotus Emeya Hyper-GT at the brand’s showroom in Mayfair, London, to take a first look at the car and spoke to the artist about how the project came to life.

Hypebeast: Can you remember your first encounter with Lotus?

Kojey Radical: I grew up in Hoxton Market, Hackney. Lotus wasn’t something I was exposed to growing up as no one had it in the ends. The first one I saw was the Lotus Esprit in a rerun of James Bond’s Spy Who Loved Me, how it turned into a submarine felt like something lifted straight out of a comic book.

What is it about the brand that resonates with you?

A lot of luxury can feel cold or overdesigned, but Lotus still feels connected to the dreamer.

I’ve been experimenting with “Royal Blue” and it seemed like the perfect fit.

Don’t Look Down is an album about pressure, visibility, fear, confidence and being under the spotlight, I wanted the car to feel like the motion and tension from those themes frozen in place. Put simply, if we took the car and placed it in a literal blue spotlight, what would naturally happen to the car’s form, and what elements would start to reveal themselves.

Talk us through the process of the project from conception to unveiling.

Closer Look at the Late Virgil Abloh's 1-of-1 Mercedes G63 AMG

SummaryMercedes-Benz AMG has officially created a one-of-one custom G63 AMG as a special tribute to the late Virgil Abloh and his iconic automotive artworkThe vehicle honors Abloh's famous "Project Geländewagen" concept, featuring an incredible factory paint job meticulously designed to look like a sanded-down, unfinished prototypeUnlike the original stripped-down art piece, this 1-of-1 edition was reimagined specifically for daily driving on the streets of Chicago, where Abloh's architectural journey beganThe intersection of high fashion, architecture, and automotive design has always been Virgil Abloh's playground. Now, the late visionary's profound impact on car culture has been immortalized in a stunning, street-legal tribute. Mercedes-Benz AMG has officially created a one-of-one, custom G63 AMG, serving as a rolling homage to Abloh's groundbreaking automotive artwork and his unforgettable "Project Geländewagen" concept from 2020.The most striking element of this exclusive G-Wagon is its mind-bending exterior finish. At first glance, the SUV looks like a raw, unfinished prototype caught right before the final paint stage, exposing sanded-down paneling and structural imperfections. However, this distressed aesthetic is actually an incredibly complex, fully finished factory paint job painstakingly executed by the craftsmen at Mercedes-Benz AMG. It is a masterful translation of Abloh's signature "work-in-progress" design language, bringing a raw, industrial vibe to a luxury powerhouse. While the original "Project Geländewagen" was a stripped-down, race-ready art piece devoid of mirrors or indicators, this new tribute was built with a different purpose in mind. It was meticulously reimagined to be a functional, daily driver built specifically to navigate the streets of Chicago. Returning to the very city where Abloh studied architecture and launched his meteoric creative career, the vehicle perfectly embodies his philosophy of "architecture inspiring cars," serving as a mobile monument surrounded by the city's iconic skyline. As a profound testament to the designer's lasting relationship with the German automaker, this masterpiece is strictly kept out of the hands of eager collectors. L'Art de Automobile took to social media to give fans a closer look, while also reiterating that this vehicle remains permanently off the market, the 1-of-1 G63 AMG resides safely within Virgil's personal car collection, ensuring that his visionary spirit continues to drive through the streets that started it all. View this post on Instagram A post shared by L'Art de l’Automobile (@lartdelautomobile)

Click here to view full gallery at Hypebeast

This 1-Of-1 Pagani Zonda Unica Features a Manual Gearbox and Could Fetch up to $14.2 Million USD at Auction

SummaryA one-of-a-kind 2018 Pagani Zonda Unica will be crossing the auction block at Broad Arrow Auctions during the Concorso d'Eleganza Villa d'Este in ItalyCommissioned by the founder of Spain-based TopCar Design, the hypercar was custom-designed from the ground up with the help of the Pagani Unico divisionPower comes from an AMG-sourced 7.3-liter V-12 engine generating roughly 750 horsepower, paired with a highly sought-after six-speed manual gearboxFor deep-pocketed collectors looking to add the ultimate hypercar to their stable, Broad Arrow Auctions has just listed a true holy grail. During the prestigious Concorso d'Eleganza Villa d'Este at Lake Como, Italy, the auction house will take bids for a "singular commission"—the one-off 2018 Pagani Zonda Unica. As if being a bespoke, one-of-one Pagani wasn't exclusive enough, this head-turning masterpiece features a massive V-12 engine bolted to a traditional manual transmission, cementing it as an absolute unicorn in the modern supercar landscape. While every Pagani Zonda is built-to-order, the Unica goes a step further. It was originally commissioned by the founder of Spain-based TopCar Design, who worked directly with the Pagani Unico division to meticulously tailor the vehicle from the ground up. The exterior borrows aggressive aerodynamic components from the legendary Zonda Cinque, all draped in a stunning, fully exposed Blue Carbon fiber finish. Gold-colored accents running along the sides and covering the wheels provide a striking contrast to the deep blue weave.Inside the cabin, the attention to detail is just as obsessive. The tailor-made interior features two-tone blue-and-white upholstery with white contrast stitching and milled-aluminum switchgear. Unique wood accents on the steering wheel give the ultra-modern hypercar a surprising vintage touch, while custom "Zonda Unica" metal plates serve as a constant reminder that this is a true one-of-one creation. But the true magic of the Unica lies under the rear engine cover. The hypercar is powered by a naturally aspirated, 7.3-liter AMG-sourced V-12 engine capable of pumping out roughly 750 horsepower and 575 pound-feet of torque. Thrillingly, that power is sent to the rear wheels via a six-speed manual gearbox, a much more desirable enthusiast spec compared to the paddle-shifted automatics often found in modern hypercars.Boasting just 1,700 miles on the odometer—including a famous run where company founder Horacio Pagani himself drove it down a Swiss airstrip—the 2018 Pagani Zonda Unica is a rolling work of art. When it officially crosses the auction block at Villa Erba, experts anticipate this blue carbon beauty will fetch anywhere between $11.3 million and $14.2 million USD.

Click here to view full gallery at Hypebeast

Gold-colored accents running along the sides and covering the wheels provide a striking contrast to the deep blue weave.

Inside the cabin, the attention to detail is just as obsessive.

Thrillingly, that power is sent to the rear wheels via a six-speed manual gearbox, a much more desirable enthusiast spec compared to the paddle-shifted automatics often found in modern hypercars.

Boasting just 1,700 miles on the odometer—including a famous run where company founder Horacio Pagani himself drove it down a Swiss airstrip—the 2018 Pagani Zonda Unica is a rolling work of art. When it officially crosses the auction block at Villa Erba, experts anticipate this blue carbon beauty will fetch anywhere between $11.3 million and $14.2 million USD.

Click here to view full gallery at Hypebeast

Lamborghini's Rarest Hypercar Yet Is a Roofless, 1,065-HP Beast Limited to Just 15 Units

SummaryLamborghini has introduced the Fenomeno Roadster, a permanently roofless hypercar limited to just 15 units worldwide to commemorate the brand's 63rd anniversaryThe hybrid powertrain pairs a 6.5-liter naturally aspirated V12 with three electric motors to produce a combined 1,065 hp, making it the automaker's most powerful open-top modelFeaturing a Blu Cepheus and Rosso Mars livery inspired by the 1968 Miura Roadster, the vehicle achieves 0-62 mph in 2.4 seconds and a top speed exceeding 211 mphLamborghini has officially unveiled the Fenomeno Roadster, a roofless marvel debuting during the brand's 63rd-anniversary celebrations at the Imola circuit. Serving as the ultimate chapter in the Italian marque's highly coveted "Few-Off" lineage, this hypercar strips away the roof while turning up the aggression. The Sant'Agata Bolognese manufacturer is limiting production to a mere 15 units worldwide, which is half the volume of its hardtop sibling introduced earlier in the year. Unsurprisingly, the entire allocation has already been claimed by a hand-picked roster of the company's most elite collectors.Pushing the boundaries of electrified performance, the open-top track weapon packs a naturally aspirated 6.5-liter V12 engine paired with three high-performance electric motors sourced from UK-based specialist YASA. This sophisticated hybrid architecture delivers a staggering 1,065 horsepower and 793 lb-ft of torque. Fed by a 7 kWh lithium-ion battery capable of a 12.4-mile electric range, the powertrain launches the vehicle from zero to 62 mph in a blistering 2.4 seconds. Drivers daring enough to keep the throttle pinned will hit 124 mph in just 6.8 seconds before maxing out at a top speed exceeding 211 mph, cementing its status as the most potent production convertible in Lamborghini's history.Engineering a hypercar without a roof required significant structural reinvention to maintain aerodynamic integrity and chassis stiffness. While the Fenomeno Roadster utilizes a carbon-fiber monocoque adapted from the flagship Revuelto, its front and rear subframes are entirely bespoke. Designers modified the upper functional surfaces to manage extreme airflow, integrating a carbon-fiber spoiler directly into the windshield and sculpting pronounced speedster humps that discreetly house essential rollover protection. The resulting silhouette channels the spirit of iconic aviation design without sacrificing track-ready downforce.Aesthetics naturally match the extreme engineering beneath the bodywork. The launch specification sports a striking triple-tone finish blending Blu Cepheus, Rosso Mars, and exposed carbon fiber—a deliberate nod to the legendary 1968 Miura Roadster. Aggressive triangular headlamps and signature Y-shaped taillights flank a massive hexagonal exhaust, while unique center-lock wheels anchor the aggressive stance. Inside the cabin, a driver-focused "Pilot Interaction" setup centers around a portrait-oriented touchscreen and bespoke upholstery, completing a masterclass in modern, visceral automotive excess.

Click here to view full gallery at Hypebeast

Silver Arrow Reborn: Audi Tradition Unveils the Recreated 1935 Auto Union Lucca

SummaryAudi Tradition has officially unveiled its faithful recreation of the Auto Union Lucca, a legendary 1930s record-breaking vehicle, appropriately debuting the car in the Italian city of LuccaThe multi-year reconstruction project was meticulously undertaken by British restoration specialists Crosthwaite & Gardiner, relying heavily on archival photos and historical documentationThe 2026 recreation is powered by a massive 6.0-liter supercharged 16-cylinder engine that produces an immense 520 horsepowerIn the 1930s, the pursuit of speed was an international obsession that fueled some of the most daring engineering feats in automotive history. Now, Audi Tradition is reviving one of the crown jewels of that extreme era. In a fitting tribute to its namesake, the brand has traveled to the Italian city of Lucca to unveil a masterful recreation of the 1935 Auto Union Lucca. Known at the time as a "Rennlimousine" (racing sedan), the Silver Arrow has been painstakingly resurrected from history to serve as a functional, roaring testament to the raw innovation of early aerodynamic racing. The original Auto Union Lucca was born out of a fierce, high-stakes rivalry with Mercedes-Benz to dominate the world's speed records. Using pioneering wind tunnel research from the Berlin-Adlershof Aeronautical Research Institute, engineers crafted a radically streamlined, enclosed-cockpit machine featuring teardrop wheel arches, covered spoked wheels, and a long, fin-like rear end. On February 15, 1935, legendary driver Hans Stuck pushed the vehicle to its absolute limits on a straight section of autostrada near Lucca. He achieved an astonishing top speed of 326.975 km/h (203.17 mph)—all without the luxury of modern aerodynamics, safety equipment, or stability control.Because the original machine was lost to history, Audi Tradition commissioned the renowned British restoration specialists at Crosthwaite & Gardiner to bring the icon back to life. Over the course of three years, the team analyzed archival photographs and period documentation to hand-craft the sleek cellulose silver bodywork and raw, purpose-built chassis, completing the one-off project in early 2026.Underneath the vintage aerodynamic shell lies a truly monstrous powerplant. While the 1935 original utilized a 5.0-liter block, the modern recreation is fitted with the visually identical 6.0-liter supercharged 16-cylinder engine from an Auto Union Type C to ensure durability for modern demonstration runs. Pumping out 520 horsepower at 4,500 rpm, the engine breathes through upward-pointing exhaust pipes and requires a specialized methanol fuel blend to unleash its full potential. Weighing in at a mere 960 kilograms (2,116 lbs), the car boasts a power-to-weight ratio that commands respect even by today's hypercar standards.By resurrecting the Auto Union Lucca, Audi has done far more than build a static museum piece; it has reconstructed a living, breathing chapter of motorsport history. After completing its ceremonial unveiling in Italy, the silver behemoth is gearing up to conquer the modern era, with its first public dynamic runs scheduled for the Goodwood Festival of Speed this July.

Click here to view full gallery at Hypebeast

This Invite-Only App Is the Future of Pricing and Trading Exotic Supercars

Forte – founded by two former executives of Beverly Hill’s most exclusive automotive dealership O’Gara Coach – has officially debuted as the first private platform tailored for the luxury automotive market, and the only way to get in is with an invitation. Here's how it works.Positioned as an exclusive luxury auto dealership app, the invite-only platform serves an elite demographic of ultra-high-net-worth (UHNW) individuals for whom vehicles represent both a primary passion and a sophisticated asset class. By replacing fragmented, antiquated trading methods with a streamlined digital interface, the app seeks to bring liquidity and transparency to a sector that has often been muddy and unclear with lots of processes and small print. The app essentially begins as an "AI digital garage;" Forte allows members to manage their entire collection through a single mobile platform. The system provides real-time portfolio tracking and market intelligence, alongside a curated aggregator of around 10bn listings, auctions, and exclusive events. Here's how it works.

Positioned as an exclusive luxury auto dealership app, the invite-only platform serves an elite demographic of ultra-high-net-worth (UHNW) individuals for whom vehicles represent both a primary passion and a sophisticated asset class.

For the modern collector, this means the ability to value and transact exceptional vehicles with the same technological rigor applied to fine art or real estate.

To further maintain the ecosystem's integrity, the platform is supported by a dedicated human concierge team.
Audi's Exclusive Turn 1 Club at F1 Miami Was the Hottest Ticket... for $10,000 USD

Formula 1 races tend to be a bit of a blur while you're there, but once you leave, you realize the experience is something truly remarkable. Especially if you're fortunate to receive the accommodations and access like what was provided for us from Audi this Miami F1 weekend. For its inaugural year in Formula 1, Audi invited us to witness its fourth race live in Miami, Florida for the May 3rd race. In all honesty, we were quietly complaining about the immense heat and humidity synonymous with Florida, but Audi's accommodations quickly took care of that concern. Besides our room in the 5-star 1 Hotel South Beach, the team supplied us with a private driver – in an 2026 Audi SQ7 of course – who took us anywhere we needed, or wanted, to go throughout the weekend. This alleviated the walking through tropical temperatures. Next was the Paddock Club, a private and quite expensive ticket for F1 attendees where you'd often rub elbows with celebrities and executives. But the key takeaway from our time with Audi this weekend has to be at the brand's solo activation – the Turn 1 Club. For Formula 1 newcomers, Turn 1 – named literally for the first turn on the track – is where a very large majority of action happens. In a Grand Prix race, it's often the driver who secures 1st place first has the best overall chance of securing the win. Therefore, turn 1 is where all the drivers fight for that position, and subsequently where collisions and contact happen. For our race, it meant pole position driver Kimi Antonelli had a three-way run in with Red Bull's Max Verstappen and Ferrari's Charles Leclerc, leading to the latter clinching 1st from Antonelli. Max even spun an albeit-clean 360º losing eight positions and dropping from P2 to P10. So as you can see, Turn 1 is pretty exciting, which coincides with its $10,000 USD price. And thus, our air-conditioned, front row seat at turn 1 was a highly memorable experience. The three-story club allowed for mingling, refreshments of chef-prepped food like tacos, caviar and desserts, and – naturally – a live feed to the race allowed for the remainder of the circuit to be enjoyed. Audi private clients and company directors showed up with key race team members to welcome us to the space. And when the mood struck us to wander, Turn 1 Club was inclusive of a replica Audi Revolut F1 R26 car, simulator rigs to hone your track skills and more. But the extras were just that, extras. We couldn't get over the phenomenal view of the race.Alongside both the paddock and the turn 1 clubs, Audi gave us access to the pit lane walk which is made available to all paddock club holders. What wasn't included however was our private tour of the garage, while Nico and Gabriel's cars were getting maintained during the grueling Miami heat. It also allowed us to see up close and personal just how many people are involved with F1 and the drivers, the cars, even the extra maintenance parts required multiple hands. Bonus experiences included in the weekend were the private track day with Audi's RS 3s at the Concours Club, and something probably just as spectacular as F1 – an Inter Miami CF match, pitch-side, to watch fütbol superstar Lionel Messi play.
Zeekr’s All-Electric Cars Take Over Milan Design Week With Alcova

After spending the past few years carving out a space in the European market, premium electric mobility brand Zeekr recently landed at Milan Design Week as the exclusive automotive partner of Alcova while returning to Tortona Rocks with the second edition of its The Art of Connection exhibition. Helping to transport approximately 7000 guests between Villa Pestarini and the former Military Hospital of Baggio, the partnership with Alcova saw the brand deploy a fleet of its luxury cars including the Zeekr X cross over, Zeekr 001 shooting brake and Zeekr 7X SUV.Beyond mobility, this service placed Zeekr within the design platform’s broader ecosystem. Through connecting audiences with installations and showcases, it brought them closer to new developments in design, particularly a collaboration between Patricia Urquiola and Haworth & Cassina. In Tortona, the focus shifted to the The Art of Connection exhibition spotlighting the Zeekr 7GT, an all-electric vehicle that takes the form of a low, elongated shooting brake, balancing grand touring performance with everyday usability. Marking the car’s official debut in Italy, the showcase traced the design of the vehicle under the direction of Stefan Sielaff – from early sketches and clay models through to prototypes and final form developed at Zeekr’s Global Design Center in Gothenburg. Against the backdrop of Milan Design week, it positioned the Zeekr 7GT as the result of an ongoing dialogue between design, technology and user experience.Elsewhere, the exhibition introduced creative collaborations from artist duo EJTECH as well as a café space that extended the experience into a more informal setting, turning into a meeting point for like-minded creatives.Take a look at Zeekr’s range of vehicles at Milan Design Week in the gallery above. During round four of the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship at Laguna Seca on May 3rd, Porsche showcased a spectacular historic livery on its factory racing prototypes. Paying homage to one of the most recognizable and beloved wraps in racing history, the Porsche Penske Motorsport team hit the California track sporting the classic rainbow spectrum of the original Apple Computer design. The striking design was far more than just a nostalgic visual. It honored the 75th anniversary of Porsche Motorsport while simultaneously celebrating 50 years since the founding of Apple. The livery traces its roots directly back to the 1980 racing season, when the US-based customer team Dick Barbour Racing entered an Apple-liveried Porsche 935 K3 into major endurance events, including the legendary 24 Hours of Le Mans. Decades later, that shared passion for innovation was successfully revived on the cutting-edge Porsche 963.Choosing the Laguna Seca Raceway for this historic tribute was a deeply intentional move by both brands. Situated in Northern California, the iconic circuit is located just down the road from Apple Park in Cupertino. Furthermore, the track has long been a spiritual home for the automaker in North America, regularly hosting the massive Porsche Rennsport Reunion.Entering the race as championship leaders, the Porsche Penske Motorsport works team fielded two of the LMDh-regulation Porsche 963 entries. The No. 6 car was driven by France’s Kévin Estre and Belgian Laurens Vanthoor, while the sister No. 7 car was piloted by Frenchman Julien Andlauer and Brazilian Felipe Nasr.By resurrecting a legendary 1980s aesthetic on highly advanced, modern hybrid prototypes, Porsche and Apple delivered a masterclass in motorsport heritage.
BYD Outpaces Tesla in the UK and Leads Brazil’s Automotive Market

SummaryBYD continues its aggressive global takeover, logging 26,396 UK vehicle registrations through April 2026 to comfortably eclipse Tesla's footprintThe Chinese automaker officially dethroned legacy giant Volkswagen in Brazil, becoming the first foreign brand to command overall monthly market leadership in the regionDown Under, the brand completely dominated Australia's electric mobility space, driven by huge demand for the new Sealion 7 SUVThe global automotive landscape is shifting fast, and BYD is holding the accelerator down. According to the latest UK vehicle registration data, the Shenzhen-based juggernaut has rapidly expanded its footprint across Britain. Pushing 26,396 total vehicles through the first four months of 2026, the brand effectively doubled Tesla’s localized output of 12,570 units. The broader UK market saw a 22.1% year-to-date jump in battery-electric adoption, creating the perfect tailwind for this aggressive expansion. While legacy European marques scramble to keep pace, the Chinese powerhouse is quietly securing a massive chunk of the electrified pie.South America is proving to be another massive victory lap for the automaker. Setting a historic precedent in Brazil, the company moved 14,911 vehicles in April to narrowly edge out Volkswagen for the overall top spot. Eclipsing a titan that has built cars in the country since the 1950s signals a total paradigm shift in regional consumer loyalty. Much of this explosive traction stems from the accessible Dolphin Mini — sold in Europe as the Dolphin Surf — which currently stands as the cheapest and most popular EV in the market. To cement this momentum, regional executives have officially bumped their 2026 local sales target to a staggering 250,000 units.Oceania is experiencing a similar battery-powered renaissance despite a broader slump in traditional car sales. Market figures from Australia confirm that electric vehicle adoption hit a record 17% market share in April, with the BYD Sealion 7 leading the charge. The mid-size electric SUV secured 1,780 deliveries, easily outpacing rival models during the period. Showcasing true market depth, the automaker actually stacked four different nameplates in the Australian top ten, including the compact Atto 2 and Atto 3. To maintain this relentless pace and outmaneuver incoming rivals, BYD is preparing to deploy next-generation infrastructure like its ultra-fast Flash Charging network across fresh territories.

Click here to view full gallery at Hypebeast

McLaren Returns to Le Mans With the Formidable MCL-HY Hypercar

SummaryMcLaren has revealed the MCL-HY hybrid prototype for the 2027 FIA World Endurance Championship alongside a stripped-down, 35-unit track variant for VIP clientsThe race-spec hypercar will be operated in partnership with United Autosports, with testing led by driver Mikkel Jensen beginning this monthEntering the WEC gives the automotive giant a renewed opportunity to capture motorsport's elusive Triple CrownMcLaren is officially charging back into the highest echelon of endurance racing. The British automotive powerhouse unveiled the MCL-HY, an aggressive new hybrid prototype engineered specifically for the 2027 FIA World Endurance Championship. Designed in a seamless collaboration between McLaren Racing and McLaren Automotive, the hypercar signals the brand’s return to a premier grid it hasn't dominated since its legendary 1995 victory at the 24 Hours of Le Mans. Alongside the main prototype, the marquee introduced a highly exclusive track-only customer version dubbed the MCL-HY GTR, catering to VIP clients who demand unfiltered performance without competition restrictions.Stripped of the spec LMDh battery and hybrid motor assembly required for FIA racing, the MCL-HY GTR relies purely on a devastating 2.9-liter twin-turbocharged V6 engine. This deletion sheds significant weight compared to the prototype, placing an uncompromising focus on raw drivability. Supply is strictly capped, with only 30 to 35 chassis scheduled for production. Owners of the GTR will secure entry into a dedicated program, granting them rare access to the same elite engineering that powers the manufacturer's global motorsport endeavors. Deliveries for these bespoke machines are slated to begin in late 2027.For the competitive FIA WEC entrant, the stakes have never been higher. Operating in partnership with United Autosports, the McLaren Hypercar Team plans to field two MCL-HY prototypes. The striking aesthetic revealed during the initial shakedown sports a test livery heavily inspired by the historic McLaren M6A, nodding to the brand's dominance in the late 1960s Can-Am series. Track testing officially kicks off this month, ensuring the platform is brutally refined long before its competitive debut. The development roster boasts serious pedigree to dial in the aerodynamics and hybrid systems. Mikkel Jensen leads the charge as the first official Hypercar driver. He is flanked by a formidable trio of European Le Mans Series veterans: Ben Hanley, alongside McLaren Driver Development prospects Gregoire Saucy and Richard Verschoor.More than just a technical exercise, the MCL-HY represents a massive cultural and competitive flex. McLaren Racing CEO Zak Brown emphasized that the brand now commands machinery in Formula 1, IndyCar, and the World Endurance Championship simultaneously. This multi-front assault reopens a historic window, giving the manufacturer a renewed shot at securing a modern Triple Crown of Motorsport by adding a fresh Le Mans trophy to its cabinet alongside existing Monaco Grand Prix and Indy 500 triumphs.

Click here to view full gallery at Hypebeast

The British automotive powerhouse unveiled the MCL-HY, an aggressive new hybrid prototype engineered specifically for the 2027 FIA World Endurance Championship. Designed in a seamless collaboration between McLaren Racing and McLaren Automotive, the hypercar signals the brand’s return to a premier grid it hasn't dominated since its legendary 1995 victory at the 24 Hours of Le Mans. Alongside the main prototype, the marquee introduced a highly exclusive track-only customer version dubbed the MCL-HY GTR, catering to VIP clients who demand unfiltered performance without competition restrictions.

Stripped of the spec LMDh battery and hybrid motor assembly required for FIA racing, the MCL-HY GTR relies purely on a devastating 2.9-liter twin-turbocharged V6 engine. Deliveries for these bespoke machines are slated to begin in late 2027.

For the competitive FIA WEC entrant, the stakes have never been higher.

He is flanked by a formidable trio of European Le Mans Series veterans: Ben Hanley, alongside McLaren Driver Development prospects Gregoire Saucy and Richard Verschoor.

More than just a technical exercise, the MCL-HY represents a massive cultural and competitive flex.

Now, exactly eighty years later, Vespa is celebrating its status as a timeless cultural icon. From inventing light urban mobility to serving as a canvas for legendary creatives like Salvador Dalí, Giorgio Armani and Christian Dior, Vespa has written indelible pages in art and social history. To honor eight decades of iconic shapes and joie de vivre, the brand is launching a stunning commemorative scooter series, a lifestyle apparel collection, and a massive upcoming jubilee in Rome. The heart of the anniversary is the new Vespa 80th, available in both the Primavera and GTS versions. Drawing directly from the Piaggio historical archives, the scooters are draped in the original Pastel Green of the very first 1946 models. This signature shade tastefully flows across the shield trim, passenger grab handle, rearview mirrors, and front suspension linkage, elegantly blending glossy and satin finishes. Deeper green tone-on-tone elements—such as the artisan-stitched saddle and rubber floorboard inserts—ground the design. The rims pay homage to the 1946 Vespa 98 with closed geometries and a diamond-finished "Est. 1946" inscription, while a commemorative "80TH" plaque sits proudly on the shield.Alongside the vehicles, Vespa has introduced a dedicated lifestyle drop that reformulates the brand's aesthetic into a renewed visual vocabulary. The urban collection is centered around a new graphic emblem: the number 80 inscribed within a hexagonal bolt, discreetly nodding to the brand's engineering roots. Fans can expect a comprehensive range of varsity jackets, cotton gabardine field jackets, functionally tailored polo shirts, and coordinated accessories. The highlight of the gear is an exclusive ABS jet helmet certified to the modern 22.06 safety standard, featuring a scratch-resistant visor and washable interiors.Moving beyond physical products, Vespa is taking the celebration to the streets of the Eternal City. From June 25 to June 28, Rome—long held in the collective imagination as the ultimate backdrop for Italian elegance—will host four days of festivities and events, promising to be the grandest celebration in the history of the legendary scooter brand.Refusing to be imprisoned by nostalgia, Vespa continues to project its timeless design into the future.
