It has been one month since fans have heard anything on the Drake and Kendrick Lamar rapid fire beef. The last entry saw Drake release “The Heart Part 6,” referencing Kendrick’s signature long-running freestyle. He dropped the track after Kendrick’s “Not Like Us” which broke The Boy’s Spotify record. Following “Not Like Us,” fans on the internet seemed to unanimously crown Kdot as the winner.

After an intense back-and-forth, the Drake seemingly squashes the beef by promising “summer vibes up next.” This seems to remain true as fans noticed that Drake has quietly removed all traces of any diss tracks towards Kendrick from his Instagram on Wednesday, June 5. He posted a new post with photos taken at his Toronto mansion with a cryptic message that reads, “The only yes man around me is my Rolex dealer.” Some have also clocked that he posted the Instagram on the same day Kendrick announced his upcoming Ken & Friends pop-up show in Los Angeles with pgLang and Free Lunch on Juneteenth. It is uncertain if the performance will add to the beef or not.

While Drake has deleted the posts, it is also unknown if this is a PR ploy for something bigger or that he might just be admitting defeat. Stay tuned to see what the two rappers have in store.
