Market Declares "Pickleball Sucks" in Tennis-Themed Capsule

“Rollerblading is to Skateboarding what Pickleball is to Tennis.”

Market has spoken it’s truth on one of the summer’s more divisive sports. “Pickleball Sucks” is the streetwear outfitter’s staunch consensus; with more of an affinity for tennis, Market served up an entire anti-pickleball capsule to show some love to the OG racketball sport.

“Rollerblading is to Skateboarding what Pickleball is to Tennis,” Market wrote in an Instagram caption. The label tapped Elliott Lewitt – 76-year-old tennis player – to hit the court to flex the capsule’s standout shirt.

“I’d like you to meet Elliott Lewitt, he is 76 years old tennis player and his late wife was a pro. In honor of her passing, he made a lasting lifetime commitment to never step foot on a pickleball court,” the caption reads.

“Tell your mom & dad (and that weird cousin in Florida) to be more like Elliot.”

Led by the statement “Pickleball Sucks” graphic tee, Market presents a lineup of t-shirts and crewnecks that echo the sentiment. Crewnecks feature MARKET’s beloved bear serving up a hit with “MARKET INTERNATIONAL” stamped underneath.

Other t-shirts include one that reads “MARKET TENNIS” and the Double Fault T-shirt which features a graphic of an angry cartoon tennis player. The crewneck graphic also surfaces on a brown t-shirt as well.

Elsewhere in the range is a Double Fault Trucker Hat, which sees the same graphic as the Double Fault tee, and arrives in a foam-mesh material complete with a snapback enclosure. Take a closer look at the apparel in the gallery below.

The full capsule is available to purchase now at Market’s official webstore.
