Hiroshi Fujiwara, often referred to as the godfather of streetwear, has built a reputation for crafting high-powered collaborations via his label fragment design. One of the brand’s closest partnerships in recent years has been with the bag specialists over at RAMIDUS. The two Japanese entities most recently reconnected to create a neon-colored line of tote bags in three sizes. Now, they’ve teamed up to introduce their first backpack collection.

Despite collaborating over 10 times to date, it is the first time that fragment design and RAMIDUS have included backpacks in their collaborative range. Crafted in daypack and rucksack styles, both styles feature all-black builds that carry black and white co-branding at their handles and uppermost back tape. On top of this, the roomy designs can each carry a device the size of a 16-inch Apple MacBook Pro.

Initial reports indicated that the fragment design x RAMIDUS backpack collection would launch on April 12 via RAMIDUS and select retailers, however, the products remain unavailable at the time of writing. Stay tuned for updates as the daypack is said to cost ¥25,300 JPY (approx. $165 USD) and the rucksack is expected to release at a starting price of ¥23,100 JPY (approx. $151 USD).
