Finisterre and Josh Vyvyan Take Their New Collaboration to the Cornish Coast
Taking inspiration from ancient Cornish folklore and myths.
Cornwall-based brand Finisterre always looks to create sustainable clothing with care for the environment at the core of everything it does. The imprint is now continuing in this vein with a brand new Spring/Summer 2024 collection in collaboration with local tattoo artist, Josh Vyvyan.
The new drop takes inspiration from ancient Cornish folklore and myths, taking the campaign to the coast to encapsulate the essence of what Cornwall is best known for: outdoor exploration and surfing. With this in mind, the drop includes a slew of graphic-heavy T-shirts with oversized silhouettes hit with bold graphics and motifs sitting front and center.
Each piece from the collection is designed with original embroidery, with each design featuring a pleasant mix of colors that represent Britain’s summer months. Additionally, a stand-out garment in the collection comes in the form of the Tonkin Utility Work Shirt.
The blue design is hit with a melange of pockets all over the silhouette, while a sunset embroidery motif is added to the midriff to round things off. Finishing off the collection, Finisterre includes a new line of caps with a slightly bent peak and further embroidered details.
