HIP and New Balance’s Latest Collaboration Is Here for Everyone to Enjoy
A new unisex collection stocked in HIP’s Leeds-based flagship store.
After recently spotlighting Japanese labels in its latest Spring/Summer 2022 editorial, HIP’s latest collection has come in collaboration with New Balance with the duo supplying a variety of unisex garments in a capsule entitled “Created For Everyone.”
This 10-piece arsenal of contemporary garments comes in a rich brown and navy color pallet while also embracing minimal co-branding. The collection has been made with full outfits in mind, too: its two or three-piece looks welcome half-zip pullovers, vests, sweats and trousers.
Traditionally, HIP has operated as a strictly-menswear label and retailer since its birth in 1987. However, HIP launched a dedicated womenswear department in April this year with the first floor of its flagship Leeds-based store now stocking products from the womenswear range, alongside lifestyle and homeware products. In celebration of the launch, HIP has worked with known creatives from the Leeds area like Jenny Beard and Elettr who have visited the new studio spaces while documenting their experience in the process.
You can see the new HIP x New Balance collection above and it will be available in HIP’s flagship store in Leeds from the evening of May 26, before it lands online on May 27 at 8 a.m. BST/3 a.m. EST.
