Para a temporada Primavera/Verão 2027, a Valentino levou seu desfile “Antilibrary” para a Bibliothèque Sainte-Geneviève, em Paris. Nas notas do desfile, o diretor criativo Alessandro Michele comparou suas reflexões sobre a moda ao conceito de antibiblioteca do escritor Umberto Eco, definido como “a coleção de livros em uma biblioteca que permanecem não lidos”.

“A cada temporada, as roupas são concebidas e criadas para seguir trajetórias muito diferentes. Algumas cruzarão o espaço do desfile apenas uma vez; outras permanecerão vivas nas imagens que guardam sua aparição fugaz; enquanto outras entrarão nos guarda-roupas para permanecer quase intocadas, estimadas como relíquias”, compartilhou Michele. Ele descreveu a coleção como pertencente a “um reino que transcende a lógica da funcionalidade e do consumo”, formando “um alegre reservatório de formas, sensibilidades estéticas, silhuetas e maneiras de habitar o corpo.”

Começando pela moda feminina, os primeiros looks ditaram o tom do desfile. Renda floral, cetins e tecidos franzidos e plissados compuseram vestidos e conjuntos de duas peças em tons de rosa, lilás, magenta, dourado e verde. Acabamentos em franjas e plumas trouxeram um ar glamouroso à coleção, reforçando as tendências maximalistas de Michele. Em seguida, os looks masculinos introduziram um lado mais casual da apresentação. O primeiro visual destaca um boné preto escrito “Villain Teen”, um trench coat de couro caramelo, calça de pijama verde-clara e sandálias color-block. A segunda proposta combina uma versão rosa-choque do boné com um cardigã marrom de lantejoulas e um jeans de lavagem clara e modelagem folgada, revelando uma cueca samba-canção xadrez acima do cós.

O xadrez continuou presente durante todo o desfile na camisaria clássica, muitas vezes colocada por dentro das peças de baixo, e as cuecas seguiram aparecendo acima da cintura em vários padrões e cores. Uma camisa xadrez azul masculina faz a transição para um tecido floral com lantejoulas nas mangas, usada com um boné rosa, um decote em V profundo e calça branca. Em um visual feminino, uma camisa xadrez verde é usada por dentro de uma saia de renda translúcida com bordados de pedrarias. Para um look com foco na moda íntima aparente, uma camisa de poá preta e branca com uma pala de lantejoulas florais é usada por dentro de uma samba-canção de foulard azul e calça de lã marrom.

Para encerrar o desfile, vestidos de gala e peças casuais femininas foram intercalados com looks masculinos coloridos de silhuetas pouco convencionais: uma blusa azul-clara de alfaiataria experimental com calça plissada azul-marinho, e um blazer violeta usado com um cinto de tecido vermelho na cintura. Michele encerrou a apresentação com um terno masculino neutro e gravata cobertos por uma capa translúcida, e um vestido longo magenta com cauda plissada.

As ruminações filosóficas de Michele sobre as qualidades imaginativas e o “potencial expressivo” das roupas refletem-se nas sensibilidades indomáveis, e por vezes conflitantes, da coleção.
