Rami Atallah is the mastermind behind Montreal-based content-commerce engine SSENSE. Atallah, who reins as chief executive officer, co-founded the fashion platform back in 2003. With a current global reach of 114 countries, SSENSE offers customers a wide range of luxury, streetwear and avant-garde labels — such as Alexander McQueen to Vetements — alongside striking features, thought pieces and editorial shoots, which all play an intrinsic part of the site. Also teaming up with brands to create exclusive capsule lines and taking risks with its content, SSENSE has garnered an 80% following of coveted millennials, between the ages of 18 and 34. For the future, Atallah plans to expand SSENSE into more physical retail locations, with one flagship currently in Old Montreal.
