全新真人版電影《惡靈古堡 Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City》釋出首波劇照
將呈現《Resident Evil》遊戲前兩代的恐怖氛圍。
全新真人版電影《Resident Evil》（惡靈古堡 / 生化危機）由 Johannes Roberts 執導，並以《Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City》作為首部曲的片名標題，而今日透過知名網站 IGN 曝光電影首波劇照。
首波劇照中，能看到 Claire Redfield（Kaya Scodelario 飾演）、Chris Redfield（Robbie Amell 飾演）、Jill Valentine（Hannah John-Kamen 飾演）、Leon S. Kennedy（Avan Jogia 飾演）與 Albert Wesker（Tom Hopper 飾演）等多名電玩原著角色現身，另外也有名為 Lisa Trevor（Marina Mazepa 飾演）的怪物亮相，其驚悚外觀令人印象深刻。
導演 Johannes Roberts 透露本作將更趨於電玩原有的恐怖本質，而不是 Paul W. S. Anderson 執導、Milla Jovovich 主演的動作片風格，並會以遊戲的前兩代作為基礎改編，尤其是第二代對導演的影響其深，將詮釋先進的拉昆市是如何因為 T 病毒變成一個猶如中西部的垂死小鎮。
除了著重在遊戲的恐怖本質之外，Johannes Roberts 也參考了許多經典恐怖電影，如《The Exorcist》、《The Exorcist 3》、《Don’t Look Now》與《The Shining》，並想將城市氛圍打造成猶如《The Deer Hunter》中遭到世界遺忘的鬼城，而整部電影的架構也深受《Precinct 13》的影響。本片預計於 11 月 24 日登陸北美地區，有興趣的讀者們敬請留意。
