Quentin Tarantino 於 2019 年推出的新片《Once Upon a Time in Hollywood》於第九十二屆奧斯卡金像獎 2020 入圍多達十項大獎，片中男配角 Brad Pitt 更是拿下金球獎的最佳男配角獎項，可謂後勢看好！
近期根據 Deadline 最新報導指出，導演 Quentin Tarantino 計畫為《Once Upon a Time in Hollywood》推出外傳電視影集，內容將會是 Rick Dalton（Leonardo DiCaprio 飾演）在片中所接演的西部片《Bounty Law》。Quentin Tarantino 表示將會製作五集半的內容讓觀眾進入《Bounty Law》的世界，並認識劇中男主角 Jake Cahill，Quentin 更表示他已為這計畫觀看不少西部片，希望將自己的思維切換進入西部電影世界。
As far as the Bounty Law shows, I want to do that, but it will take me a year and a half,” he told the outlet. “It got an introduction from Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, but I don’t really consider it part of that movie even though it is.
