近年年末到來之時，美國前總統 Barack Obama 都會公佈個人在當年度最喜愛的音樂、電影或書籍名單，而今次他便揭曉了 2019 年 18 部最愛電影與 3 部最愛影集，其中包含有多種類型的作品，包括獲 Oscar 提名的《The Irishman》、《Marriage Story》和飽受好評的獨立電影《Booksmart》、《The Last Black Man in San Francisco》及最大黑馬《Parasite》，其和妻子共同創立的製作公司 Higher Ground Productions 出品的《American Factory》也名列榜單之上。
