Utility meets sophistication as Nike adds a twist to its Air Rift silhouette. Released in 1996 to mimic Kenyan barefoot runners, the slip-on has seen a resurgence in popularity, thanks in part to the rise in slides throughout the market, as well as an updated range of color options, including minimal black and white to the more expressive United in Victory iteration.

The latest release sees the Air Rift tip-toe into the world of ballet through an elegant soft pink colorway that is complemented with removable satin ribbons that wrap around the ankles. Staying true to the original, the shoe is constructed in a synthetic breathable mesh and neoprene upper atop a lightweight phylon midsole and sturdy rubber outsole.

Nike has not released details on the price and release date for its ballet-inspired Air Rift, but reports suggest that select Japanese retailers are already selling the latest model, with US stockists next on the list.
