Larry David Announces Fall US Tour
Each stop will see the comedian joined by a guest moderator.
Larry David will be heading on tour around the US this fall. The run is simply called A Conversation With Larry David and will see the comedian joined by a series of surprise moderators for an “informal conversation” spanning his work on Seinfeld, Curb Your Enthusiasm and “everything in between.”
The tour will kick off on September 20 in Denver, where David will be joined by Peyton Manning, followed by stops in Seattle, San Francisco, Philadelphia, Atlanta, Chicago and more.
David and Jerry Seinfeld teamed up in the late 1980s to create Seinfeld, which went on to run for nine seasons across a decade, with David himself writing 62 episodes.
Following the end of Seinfeld, what was supposed to be a one-off hour-long comedy special, Curb Your Enthusiasm, was picked up as an HBO series. David played a version of himself, and the show’s plotline was based on his real life post-Seinfeld.
“It’s really nothing. It’ll be a total waste of your time,” David said in a deadpan video on Instagram. “There’s not that many things to do at night. So, yeah, I guess if you have nothing to do, but you could consider bowling. It’s not a terrible [idea] I haven’t done in about 50 years. But now that I mentioned it, I think I might hit the lanes soon.”
A general sale for tickets to A Conversation With Larry David opens on Friday, September 13.
