Update: November is just around the corner and Jordan Brand has plenty of sneakers dropping as sneakerheads gear up for the holidays. One such pair is the new “Bred Velvet” rendition of the Air Jordan 11. Dropping in women’s sizing, the shoe revisits the classic “Bred” look with a new velvet upper. Release remains set for November 11 via Nike SNKRS and select retailers at a price of $230 USD.

Update: Rumored at the start of the year, we now have a first look at what to expect from Jordan Brand’s new “Bred Velvet” take on the Air Jordan 11. Our limited initial preview of the shoe confirms what we expected — the iconic “Bred” color arrangement with a velvet upper. Release is now set to take place on November 11 via Nike SNKRS and select retailers at a starting price of $225 USD in women’s sizing.

Original Story: As the 2023 holiday season wraps up, the sneaker world has its eyes set on the 2024 holiday season as release rumors continue to circulate. The latest update from reputable sneaker leakers zSneakerHeadz and Sneaker Files builds upon their recent reveal of a women’s exclusive Air Jordan 1 “Satin Shadow” coming next holiday period by noting another exclusive for the ladies.

The Air Jordan 11’s already-exciting lineup of launches, including a low-top “Space Jam” pair, now includes a “Bred Velvet” colorway. Pictured above via mock-up, the arrangement is said to replace the patent leather mudguard with a velvet finish. It’s unclear as to whether the remainder of the upper features velvet, however, its color distribution is expected to match the classic “Bred” composition of black, red and white throughout that last released in 2019.

At the time of writing, we’ve yet to receive confirmation from Jordan Brand that this rumored “Bred Velvet” iteration of the Air Jordan 11 is on the way. However, we currently expect it to release towards the end of the year during the holiday season via Nike SNKRS and select retailers at a price point of $225 USD in women’s sizing.
