Kevin Abstract Has Dropped Three More YouTube-Exclusive Singles in the Past 24 Hours
“You’re My Type of Pleasure,” “Jefferson” and, most recently “Diamondz and Cash” with Lil Yachty and HVN.
Kevin Abstract has been on a run as of late, unleashing a solid lineup of YouTube-exclusive singles presumably pulled from his imminent Glue LP. In the past 24 hours alone, Abstract has dropped off three new songs to the BROCKHAMPTON YouTube channel, starting with “You’re My Type of Pleasure,” and following it up with “Jefferson,” and, most recently, “Diamondz and Cash” with Lil Yachty and HVN.
Abstract unveiled “You’re My Type of Pleasure” on Monday, which comes with production from Jacob Bugden. He then followed it up with “Jefferson” later in the day, a track that fans compared to the sound of Abstract’s older days.
The latest in the lineup, which is potentially the most notable, is the long-awaited “Diamondz and Cash,” a five-plus-minute cut that comes complete with features from Yachty as well as HVN. The track was initially previewed in January 2021, which was first teased on Abstract’s Twitter account in July 2021 in a promo video for his VIDEO STORE clothing collection drop.
More of the song then surfaced later that year when Boat’s contributions to the cut were confirmed in September in an episode of The Boat Show.
