Tokyo Meets London in the BEAMS T x LN-CC Capsule
Featuring artwork from 10 global artists.
BEAMS T is tapping into its global network in its latest capsule, looking across the pond to source its next collaborator. In partnership with London’s LN-CC, the Tokyo-based outfitter is spotlighting the work of 10 artists across a lineup of staple Beams Ts.
The duo looked to cross genres and generations in the delivery, melding the aesthetics of Tokyo and London and enlisting a group of artists from around the world to curate original graphics, especially for the collaborative capsule.
With disciplines spanning collage, oil painting and graphic art, the BEAMS T x LN-CC does just what it set out to do: envision the BEAMS ethos through LN-CC’s lens. Artists include Kosuke Kawamura, ESOW, Ryota Daimon, Kei Tanaka, Sablo Mikawa, Kazuma Ogata, Yabiku Henrique Yudi, face oka, SHINKNOWNSUKE and Ed Davis.
J.30000 also curated a handful of original graphics to commemorate the release, stamping them across a Beams T, tote bag and baseball cap.
This also signals the first time the BEAMS T blank tees – dubbed the “new T” – will be available for purchase in Europe.
