BAPE Goes Beast Mode on "A Rising Bape" Collection
Adorned with “Dragon and Tiger” graphics and motifs.
BAPE has gone full beast mode on its new collection – literally. Dubbed “A Rising Bape,” the imprint is drawing design inspiration from the significant animals in ancient Chinese culture – the dragon and the tiger – to capture the energy of its new apparel.
The “Dragon and Tiger” print pulls influence from ancient Chinese motifs to envision the two beasts favored by Japanese warlords and Zen masters for their display of power and authority across the collection.

The range consists of t-shirts, short-sleeved shirts, hoodies, nylon jackets and nylon pants, each of which are stamped with the “Dragon and Tiger” graphic via a variety of techniques including embroidery, foil printing and gel printing.
Hoodies are adorned with a “Dragon and Tiger” graphic across the hood, while T-shirts surface in three different styles. The standout iteration features a rubber “Dragon and Tiger” print, polished off with rhinestone eyes; another amalgamates the rubber and foil prints and the final tee comes complete with a bold comic-style dragon graphic print.
Expect BAPE’s complete “A Rising Bape” collection to release for purchase on Saturday, August 3 at Bape’s London storefront as well as at BAPE’s official webstore.
