Quavo Drops New Single and Music Video “Mink”
Coming on the heels of his single “Clear the Smoke.”
It’s the end of the week, which means a slew of new music. Amongst the new releases is Quavo with his new track “Mink.”
Released through Quality Control Music/Motown Records, the new single sees Quavo’s signature flow, confident demeanor and standout adlibs as he wraps about why he bought a girl a pink mink coat. But more than that, the song also discusses aspects of Quavo’s lifestyle from handling business with his crew to kicking it at the club.
“Lil’ bit’ p***y pink, so I went and bought a mink (Pink)/I was workin’ a trap, never worked a plan B/Don’t forget your strap, boy, playin’ in these streets (Bao)/I just put two hundred bands in the kitchen sink (Kitchen)/Woo, woo, woo, lil’ bit’ p***y pink, so I went and bought a mink (P***y)/I was workin’ a trap, never worked a plan B (No)/Ni**as’ super cap, boy, we could never link (Let’s roll),” raps Quavo in the track’s chorus.
To bring the track to life, the accompanying music video sees Quavo, his crew and mink-coat-donning women in scenes ranging from outside in front of the house, working in the kitchen, dancing in the gas station and riding around in vintage muscle cars.
