Closer Look at Martine Rose's SS25 Clarks Collection
Debuted on the runway at Milan Fashion Week.
British designer Martine Rose continues to establish herself as one of the greats. The menswear titan made her Milan Fashion Week debut for Spring/Summer 2025, hosting an emotional showcase that upgraded her signature party-ready silhouettes while dissecting unrealistic beauty standards.
The collection was packed with collaborations, seeing Martine Rose reveal her next Clarks collection on the runway, marking her third release as Guest Creative Director. Since her appointment in mid-2023, Martine Rose has consistently redefined traditional Clarks models and adds touches of eccentricity for SS25.
Martine Rose hones in on derby dress shoes and archival kitten heels this season, seeing models walk the runway in glossy crocodile-pressed versions. The latter landed in “Cornflower Blue,” “Pretzel Tan,” and “Black” colorways inspired by Clarks desert line, while the former donned split seams for a deconstructed look. The collection will form part of Clarks’ 200th anniversary line celebrating exotic animal skins.
