Luke Meier To Step Down as OAMC’s Creative Director
Holding the position since its 2013 establishment.
Luke Meier is stepping down as the creative director of OAMC, the brand he founded alongside Arnaud Faeh.
Since OAMC’s 2013 establishment, Luke Meier has served as the brand’s creative director – continuing to craft its self-expressive design vision. With his departure, the OAMC’s Spring/Summer 2024 offering was Meier’s last collection for the brand. Back in 2021, Meier and Faeh regained complete ownership of the brand after acquiring the minority stake from Onward Holdings. Even though Meier is departing the creative director role, he is set to lead specific projects.
“I would like to thank all those involved with OAMC, particularly Arnaud and Edwin Faeh, for their companionship, enthusiasm, and support in creating such a wonderful project,” said Meier. “I am confident in leaving the studio in very capable hands and look forward to the outstanding success that OAMC will achieve in the coming years.”
Aside from OAMC, Luke Meier has been leading the charge at Jill Sander with his wife Lucie Meier since 2017 as co-creative directors. Under their stewardship, the duo has revitalized the house – continuously adding to its unwavering minimalist prevalence.
Until a new creative director is selected, the brand’s collections will be crafted by the in-house studio team, which will craft the forthcoming SS25 offering.
