Update: Hot off of earning his second gold medal for Japan, Yuto Horigome is preparing to drop his second sneaker in collaboration with Nike SB. Having outfitted the SB Dunk Low in 2023, the skater is due to present a second look featuring the silhouette in 2025. Spotted previously, we now have a set of official imagery indicating what to expect from his new “Asparagus” colorway. A mixed material upper sees green hues paired with white and brown touches at the midsole and collar respectively. Release remains anticipated for next spring via Nike SNKRS and select skate shops around a $130 USD price point. Stay tuned for updates and review our previous breakdowns below.

Update: Yuto Horigome just took home his second consecutive gold medal in Olympic Skateboarding (Men’s Street), maintaining his position as the undisputed champion of the men’s version of the event following its initial two occurrences. During his performance in the event, Horigome sported his SB Dunk Low that released last year, and for those who missed out, you’re in luck. An “Asparagus” colorway by Horigome that we spotted earlier this year, and outlined below, is on the way for 2025. After surfacing back in May, the sneaker is now expected to drop next spring via Nike SNKRS and select skate shops around the $130 USD price point.

Original Story: Yuto Horigome made history in 2021 by becoming the first gold medal winner in skateboarding at the Olympics. While he’s attempting to qualify for this year’s competition in Paris, his work with Nike SB looks to be continuing as well. Last year, the two brought forth a collaborative take of the SB Dunk Low that flew off of shelves promptly. Now, a first look at another version of the shoe from the duo has surfaced.

Dubbed the “Asparagus” colorway, Horigome’s cross-feather logo appears at the lateral heel once again, clueing in any onlookers that it’s one of the skater’s own designs. Its upper combines various hits of green and brown throughout its mixed material build of suede and leather. Its Swooshes and the tongue tag branding, which notably lists both Nike SB and Horigome’s name, arrive in green while the heel’s “NIKE” embroidery takes on a dark gold.

At the time of writing, neither Yuto Horigome nor Nike SB have confirmed that this collaborative “Asparagus” iteration of the SB Dunk Low will be releasing. Stay tuned for updates as it’s currently rumored to drop next year via Nike SNKRS and select skate shops at a price of $130 USD.
