The NIGO x Penfolds Grange Collaboration Is Heading to the UK
Available via select retailers from the end of March.
Following its successful global launch last month, Grange by NIGO, the latest collaboration from Penfolds and its creative partner, NIGO, is arriving in the UK later this month.
The Grange by NIGO release celebrates the first-ever design takeover of Penfolds’ flagship luxury wine, Grange — and it’s regarded as one of the world’s most revered wines by wine collectors globally, while the new release also marks a momentous milestone for Penfolds in its 180th anniversary year.
Taking inspiration from his first visit to Penfolds Magill Estate Winery in South Australia in 2022, NIGO has reimagined the packaging design for this one-off series. Additionally, the release includes collectible gift boxes, housing the 2019 Grange: a highly regarded vintage, made from the very highest quality Shiraz grapes from vineyards across South Australia.
Each box is individually numbered and includes a bandana and bottleneck tag designed by NIGO alongside an authenticity certificate. Leaning into NIGO’s distinctive style, the aesthetic of the box is taken over by a vibrant grape graphic as well as Penfold’s logo, reimagined through Human Made’s typography.
Only 1500 750ml bottles and 150 magnums are available globally, with a slew of bottles becoming available in UK retailers including Harrods and Berry Bros. & Rudd.
