Irish designer Jonathan Anderson is a creative mastermind, defying normality with otherworldly creations that walk on fantastical lines. He ignited the fourth day of Paris Fashion Week with his customary morning slot for LOEWE, serving attendees a nutritious breakfast of swollen silhouettes and agricultural tributes.

The ancient Parisian venue was lined with 18 paintings by American artist Albert York, known for his blooming paradise of floral artwork. York’s promise land was LOEWE’s stepping stone for Fall/Winter 2024, envisioning a pioneering art gallery that houses the artist’s most extensive collection of work outside the US.

The collection oozed with Anderson’s unmatched creativity, blowing up and slimming down visionary wardrobes with striking detail. York’s famed roses, daisies, and tulips bloomed on cutout dresses secured by oversized belts, while greenery developed on flowy trousers paired with structured 18th-century blazers. Furthermore, eagles rested on tree branches woven into knitted co-ords, followed by spirited dog illustrations embellished with miniature crystals.

Models walked the runway with blue-tinted pixie cuts that gave an edge to metal-trimmed eveningwear and faded tartan prints. Inventive draping techniques froze spiraled dresses in time, contrasted by yarn clusters jumping off collared knitwear and humorously high-waisted trousers. Jonathan Anderson is nothing short of a visionary, cementing himself in fashion history books with unmistakable originality.
