66°North Ventures to New Places With SS24 Campaign
Digging into its nearly 100-year-old Icelandic history.
66°North has a long history of providing outdoor apparel/gear that’s fit for some of the harshest elements. This history spans 98 years to be exact, so the brand definitely knows what it’s talking about. In continuing its legacy and spirit of adventure, the Icelandic brand has unveiled its new campaign for the Spring/Summer 2024 season.
Entitled ‘Leaving Home,’ the campaign and collection dive into the beauty of adventure. Whether or not you know the destination, there’s excitement and lessons to be learned from the journey, which is heightened by having the right gear in tow. So the idea behind the latest collection is to provide functional essentials in technical, high-performance fabrications.
‘”Leaving Home’ is inspired by that moment when you open the door, turn to the sunlight and realize that spring has arrived,” said the brand. “When there’s a promise of warmer, brighter months in the air.”
Digging into its Icelandic heritage, the brand refreshes some of its signature garments with a contemporary cadence. Inside the wardrobe, outerwear remains an obvious strength with an assortment of puffers, shell jackets and soft fleece pieces – with the Hornstrandir shell and Shæfell jacket serving as highlights. The entire lot is then livened by natural shades of black, deep blue, stone gray and moss green alongside bolder hues of coral, ice blue and technical camouflage.
