Bamford London Taps Jeremyville for Limited-Edition GMT
Featuring the artist’s iconic Earth character.
Bamford London is kicking the new year with a fun watch collaboration. This time around, the British company is tapping New York-based artist, Jeremyville to co-create a limited-edition GMT.
Presented in a 40mm stainless steel build, the timepiece spotlights a matte black dial adorned with Jeremyville’s iconic Earth character. The character, along with all the time-telling indications on the watch face arrives in a bright cyan and yellow palette that punctuates its dark base with a splash of color. Serving as the hour and minute hands are Earth’s two arms, with the peace sign indicating the hour, while the fingers-crossed hand reads minutes. On top of that, a ringed planet motif can be spotted on the tip of seconds hand as it orbits around the character.
Turning over, the caseback is bedecked with the Earth character’s “KEEP ON TURNIN’” mantra, accompanied by engraved branding, batch number alongside details that signify the watch’s technical specifications. The reference runs on the Sellita SW330-2 self-winding movement with a 56-hour power reserve, complete with a water resistance of up to 10 ATM.
“It’s been so great to collaborate with Bamford. A watch of this caliber is the ultimate collectible art object. The coming together of both of our design aesthetics has resulted in something special and unique. I’ll be wearing it daily,” notes Jeremyville.
Released as a limited production of 30 pieces, the Bamford London x Jeremyville Limited-Edition GMT is currently available via Bamford’s official online shop with a retail price point of £1,700 GBP (approximately $2,169 USD).
