Liam Gallagher and adidas Spezial's LG2 SPZL "Bottle Green" Is an Instant Classic
Resembling the original hues of adidas’ Country silhouette.
Lead Oasis vocalist and solo artist Liam Gallagher has become a legend under his own terms, championing his unique identity with Gary Aspden‘s adidas Spezial. The Northern rockstar’s LG2 SPZL silhouette pays tribute to British terrace culture, emulating the low-top kicks fans wear on the stands.
Gallagher first teased his latest adidas collaboration during a London gig at London’s KOKO venue, arriving at retailers in Early September. The classic white and green colorway resembles the original adidas Country, which debuted in the mid-1970s.
“Chalk White” leather uppers land with a clean identity, complemented by tonal suede overlays that hit the mudguards and heel counters. “Bottle Green” three stripes branding decorates the medial panels and co-branded rear tabs, completing the design with thin-cut tongues, Liam Gallagher facial illustrations, and textured gum outsoles.
